Deosai national park
Deosai National Park, often called the “Land of Giants,” is one of the untouched places in Pakistan. Sitting at an average height of 4,114 meters, Deosai is the world’s second-highest plateau, famous for its endless meadows, crystal-clear streams, and incredible wildlife.

Main Attractions in Deosai National Park
Sheosar Lake
Sheosar Lake, at 4,142 meters, is one of Pakistan’s highest lakes. On clear days, it reflects the snowy peaks of Nanga Parbat.
Bara Pani and Kala Pani
These are two major camping sites and river crossings within the park, known for their fresh water streams and wide grasslands.
Wildlife and Birdwatching
Deosai is home to animals like the Himalayan brown bear, red fox, Himalayan ibex, and snow leopard, as well as birds like golden eagles and vultures.
Stargazing and Camping
Because of its remote location and high altitude, Deosai offers some of the clearest night skies in Pakistan, ideal for stargazing and camping.
